Angela Minerva (Kwok Wing Miu) first attended a Wing Chun seminar in 1994. After being impressed by Wing Chun she began formally training with Sifu Ron Heimberger, under the direct teaching of Bryan Talbot, in Prescott Valley, Arizona. After the passing of Sifu Ron Heimberger in March of 2008 Angela was introduced to Sifu Samuel Kwok. Sifu Kwok graciously accepted her as a disciple and has brought new levels of understanding to Ip Man Wing Chun. Sifu Angela is the Chief Instructor at Phoenix Wing Chun, an indoor disciple of her Sifu, Samuel Kwok, was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame, and has been awarded a certificate of recognition as a Master of the Martial Arts in Wing Chun from the World Wide Martial Arts Council.
Michael Minerva started training in Wing Chun at the age of five. Michael is a Second Lieutenant for the US Marine Corp and currently lives in Lynchburg, Virginia where he is a law student. For several years he trained with his parents, Nick and Angela Minerva. In October of 2009 Mike was tested by Samuel Kwok and became a certified instructor. In May of 2011 Michael was accepted as a personal disciple of Sifu Samuel Kwok. Jason Mattox has trained in Wing Chun with various instructors through the years. In the summer of 2008 he started training with Nick and Angela Minerva and was able to test with Samuel Kwok and become a certified instructor in October of 2009. Jason currently teaches privately in Tempe, Arizona. Jason has completed the empty hand forms, dummy form/applications and has done some pole training. He is considered a Level Two Instructor through Phoenix Wing Chun.
Nick Edmonds has trained in a variety of martial arts since childhood. He began his training at Phoenix Wing Chun in 2009. In September of 2011 he was certified as an instructor under his Sigung Samuel Kwok and Sifu Angela. Nick currently teaches at his studio, Red Light Martial Arts in Phoenix, AZ. Nick has completed the entire system through the knives and is considered a Level Five Instructor through Phoenix Wing Chun.
Victor Garcia began his Wing Chun training in 2010 at Phoenix Wing Chun. He received his Level One Teaching Certification through Sifu Angela in March of 2012. He currently teaches and trains at Phoenix Wing Chun. Victor has completed the empty hand forms and the dummy form/applications. He is currently training the pole and is considered a Level Two Instructor through Phoenix Wing Chun.
Satyaki Gupta is a student of a variety of martial arts. He has been training at Phoenix Wing Chun since 2010. He received his Level One Instructor Certificate from Sifu Angela in April of 2012. He is currently in India where he is from and establishing a school where he can pass on Ip Man Wing Chun. Satyaki has completed the empty hand forms and the dummy form/applications and is considered a Level Two Instructor through Phoenix Wing Chun. Solomon Blake is a student of various martial arts, beginning formal training in 1995, and in January 2011 decided to add Wing Chun to his arsenal under the tutelage of Phoenix Wing Chun.
